Rosturizm and Yandex.Taxi agreed to help tourists who are in difficult situation due to  bankruptcy of their tour operator, cancellation or delay flights within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2019), agency's press office told Interfax-Tourism.

 “Rosturizm and the Russian transnational company “Yandex” have concluded an agreement on cooperation aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of tourism, popularizing the country's historical and cultural heritage, increasing Russia's tourist attractiveness and increasing tourist traffic through the effective use of Internet technologies. Agreement was signed by the head of the agency Zarina Doguzova and Yandex.Taxi CEO Daniil Shyleiko at SPIEF-2019. Within the framework of the signed agreement, the parties will consider mechanisms of support of tourists that suffered from unscrupulous tour operators and airlines", - the statement says.

As mentioned by Rosturizm, the agreement implies assistance to tourists who have found themselves in a difficult situation due to the bankruptcy of the tour operator, due to the cancellation or the delay of flight. Yandex.Taxi" plans to help the tourists to order the transport in those countries where the services of "Yandex.Taxi" and "Yango" operate, as well as to help to transfer the tourists from the airport. "Today, we are working more on the safety of tourists that go abroad with help of the Association of Tourism Operators "Tourist help", but we have always wanted to raise awareness and comfort of tourists here in Russia. I am sure that the project will be useful for the tourists", - said Doguzova.

The parties also agreed to support the most popular and good tourist destinations in Russia. "For this purpose, Yandex.Taxi will install information stalls in taxi landing zones so that people know where to wait for a car. Besides, the partnership network will be expanded in popular tourist destinations to make it convenient for travelers to visit interesting places by taxi", - the agency explained.
