Russia and Kazakhstan agreed on cooperation in the tourist industry  02.04.2018 11:27

According to the press service of the Russian department, the Federal agency for tourism and national company "Kazakh Tourism" signed an agreement on cooperation in an event on the 25th international tourist exhibition MITT that will take place in Moscow.

"Under the agreement, the parties intend to develop and to strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism in order to popularize tourist destinations and to increase tourist exchange between the countries. The cooperation implies the joint promotion in international tourist markets, the holding of informational and press tours, the participation in investment projects on the territory of both countries. Besides, it is expected the holding of joint activities aimed at promoting domestic and entry tourism in Russia and Kazakhstan among tourists", - said in a statement.

In the Federal agency for tourism noted that, according to the memorandum, Russia and Kazakhstan will form working and expert groups for the development and realization of project solutions, will organize and hold meetings, conferences, seminars and other events aimed at the development of tourism.

"Cooperation with colleagues from neighboring countries in the development of domestic and entry tourism is an important step in popularizing travel, increasing the interest of tourists to rest in Russia and the CIS countries. Today Russia and Kazakhstan offer different types of travel that can be a stimulus for a mutual stable tourist change between our countries. The combination of efforts to promote tourism potential and interaction in solving of actual issues of the development allows to achieve a practical result", - said the head of the Federal agency for tourism Oleg Safonov.
