Temporary consular department will appear at Koltsovo airport in Yekaterinburg for the 2018 World Cup 12.02.2018 10:47
According to the Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk region Vasily Kozlov, foreign fans visiting Yekaterinburg will be able to apply to the special consular department in order to resolve their issues during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
"A temporary consular department will operate in Koltsovo to assist individuals (...) Someone did not receive a fan ID, someone has other issues with crossing the border," Kozlov said during the press conference in Yekaterinburg.
He noted that representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Border Guard Service, the customs service and the regional ministry of international and foreign economic relations will work in this department.
V. Kozlov added that currently, the Ministry is holding a series of negotiations with embassies of the countries whose teams will play in Yekaterinburg.
2018 FIFA World Cup will be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15, 2018. The games will take place in 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don.
According to the results of the draw, matches between Egypt and Uruguay, France and Peru, Japan and Senegal, Mexico and Sweden will be held in Yekaterinburg.
