According to the information posted on the website of the Moscow region government, the Ministry for Culture of the Moscow region is currently developing tourist programs for fans intending to attend the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

"The project aims to provide a comfortable travel from Moscow railway stations to points of destination due to the launching of specialized commuter rails branded for the 2018 World Cup," the report states.

As noted the Minister for Culture of the Moscow region Oksana Kosareva, such commuter rails will be equipped with audio guides in foreign languages, service areas for children and press walls.

In cities where special tourist routes are being developed (Sergiev Posad, Istra, Klin, Kolomna and Dmitrov), it is planned to improve the territory including creation and widening of pedestrian areas from the railroad complexes where the tourist information centers are located to the points of destination.

Signs of tourist navigation in four languages will also be set on the guests’ way. As noted in the press service, more than 200 signs will be set in Moscow vicinities before the 2018 World Cup.

"Upon arrival at the railway station, tourists will be able to rent a bicycle and continue traveling on modern bike lanes," the report says.
